Who Can Come to Teamwork?

Anyone who is going through a difficult time emotionally, for
whatever reason, and
feels that they would benefit from being part of a friendly team of
people.
People who use Teamwork include:
*
People recovering from a period of mental ill health.
*
People experiencing emotional distress, or finding life difficult, perhaps because of
stress, relationship problems, unemployment, bereavement or
loneliness.
*
People whose physical health or disability, or whose learning
difficulty, is causing
them to become stuck at home, isolated or bored or depressed.
Many people have benefited from Teamwork in the 25 years since it
was first started. It provides secure, structured, meaningful activity and can
help to restore a sense of self worth to anyone whose confidence may have been
damaged by illness
or difficult times emotionally.
Some people achieve their goal of being able to return to the world
of work after a spell at Teamwork. For others, improved confidence and emotional
health enables a return to life in a coping role.
Although work is used as the therapeutic medium the aspect most
helpful to good health is the friendship and support of other members at Teamwork,
and the feeling of contributing to the common good.
