Teamwork Trust provides a long established vocational-based therapy service for people experiencing mental distress

Therapy Services: What we do at Teamwork

  • Meaningful activity
  • Training/Education
  • Social events
  • Provide detailed progress/development reports

The activities undertaken at Teamwork are wide and varied. One aspect is a range of commercial and light industrial work. Not only is this a meaningful activity in a real work environment, it also helps to provide a part of our income.

In addition, we run a varied programme of training courses, employing our own Tutors. The subjects include art and crafts, pottery, food hygiene, Employability, literacy and numeracy, and I.T.

On the job training is also available in the various skills needed to carry out the work done at Teamwork. This includes manual and production skills, office work, management and supervision, catering, gardening and despatch work. Those who wish may become involved in the management, supervision, training, quality control and administration of the organisation.

Out of hours social activities also take place, and there are opportunities to take part in local support and service user groups as well as accessing wider community services.

Each individual attending Teamwork will be continuously monitored and evaluated against agreed outcomes towards personal goals/recovery pathways. Progress/development is measured and analysed to provide personal feedback or reporting to referrers/carers. Personal plans are updated and aims/goals agreed.  Teamwork has developed a comprehensive recording and reporting scheme to monitor and feedback development/progress on a regular basis.

The statistical data collected can evidence not only individual(s) performance but can also map and identify trends, patterns and indicators to identify the effectiveness of interventions and programs  so that continuous improvements can be implemented.
