12th December 2018: Teamwork Trust gained national recognition for its business excellence when it scooped runners-up Not for Profit Business of the Year at the SME National Business Awards 2018.

It was another moment in the spotlight for the Northamptonshire charity – which supports adults with mental health needs, learning and physical disabilities – after an incredibly strong 12 months of wins and accolades in six different local and national awards.

Picking up the certificate, Victoria Bell, Head of Development said: “This kind of national recognition is a massive boost for our charity – a grand finale to our 2018 winning streak with even more acknowledgment of our strong business approach. We were up against some very big competition but were still able to demonstrate our ability to respond to significant funding challenges within the charitable sector. We are a small Northamptonshire charity who is pioneering new ways to provide social care services – an incredible way to end 2018.”

The SME National Business Awards ceremony, which took place at Wembley Stadium on Friday 7 December, celebrated six finalists – top UK charitable and not for profit organisations. The winner of the Not for Profit Business of the Year category was Undefeeted CIC.
