Award winning Kettering Park Hotel & Spa chose Teamwork Trust as their ‘Charity of the Year’ earlier this year, and pledged to offer the charity’s members possible volunteering opportunities, educational and training support for their cookery classes; alongside tours of the hotel, the spa, gardens and restaurant, as well as assisting with fundraising events.

Nine Teamwork Trust members enjoyed a visit to the hotel and spa as part of the new partnership on Thursday 30th March, and were shown around by General Manager, Andrew Hollett before being treated to lunch in the restaurant.

Nick Hayton, Business and Fund Development Officer at Teamwork Trust, said: “Hands-on support of local businesses in this way provides fantastic experiences for our members. We are very grateful for the generosity shown by Andrew and his staff at Kettering Park Hotel and Spa who took time to give us a comprehensive tour.  We had such an enjoyable visit and the members were thrilled to be able to see the hotel and restaurant in action.”

Nick and the Teamwork Members were also presented with a cheque for over £200 which was raised at the Hotel and Spa’s Christmas Ball Raffle.

Andrew said: “We are very proud to be able to support Teamwork Trust like this and through our fundraising activities and are really delighted that this recent visit had such a positive impact. It is important to us that we continue to offer opportunities like this for the charity’s members and we’re looking forward to working with Teamwork Trust more in the future.”
