2nd July 2019: People with real-life experience are helping Teamwork Trust shape and improve its services.

The Northamptonshire charity is actively recruiting staff and volunteers who have overcome mental ill health, learning and physical disabilities, because their valuable inside knowledge enables them to help others in similar situations.

During national Co-production Week, Teamwork celebrated and thanked the people whose unique insight helps so many.

John Bruce, strategic director Teamwork Trust said:

We recognise that people who have had first-hand experience of mental health issues and disabilities can pass on such valuable knowledge to others – either by helping to influence how we run our charitable services or by working with our service-users as a volunteer or member of staff.
