David Owens David is a Trustee at Teamwork Trust Expand David is one of the Corporate Service Partners at Hawsons Chartered Accountants, based at their office in Northampton. He trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the Doncaster and Sheffield offices before moving to Northamptonshire in 2012. He has 10 years of practical experience within the profession and has been fortunate for the duration of that time to specialise in advising Charities. He is delighted to be joining The Teamwork Trust, having presented a Charity update at their AGM in November 2017 as well as seeing first-hand the fantastic work the Charity does on a visit to their Kettering site. David lives in Kettering and in his spare time likes to keep active by running Pitsford Reservoir and taking his daughter swimming.
John Hill John Hill is a Teamwork Trust trustee Expand John, a science graduate, is experienced in research, production, marketing and consultancy in the plastics industry. The former regeneration consultant of Catalyst Corby is now semi retired and, along with his commitment to Teamwork Trust, John is a governor at Corby Business Academy and Brooke Weston Academy. John has responsibility for Teamwork Trust's business portfolio.
Bill Clark Bill Clark is a trustee of Northamptonshire charity Teamwork Trust. Expand Bill was born and still resides in Corby Northamptonshire. In 1968 Bill joined the Northamptonshire Police Cadets which signalled a 30 year career in the service. Bill retired from the Police in the year 2000 as an operational Chief Inspector. In 2002 Bill became the Managing Director of Teamwork Trust and utilised his strong knowledge of multi agency working to promote and advance the charity. In 2012 he retired and since then has been a much valued trustee.
Rachael Collins Rachael Collins, Aldi Area Manager responsible for stores in Kettering and Wellingborough, became a trustee in 2016 after volunteering for Teamwork Trust for several years. "Having volunteered I could appreciate how hard the staff work and how much of a positive impact Teamwork Trust has on the lives of its members. In my career I complete lots of strategic planning, so I hope to bring long term operations planning experience to the charity. As a volunteer I loved getting to know the members so I am delighted to be doing my bit to ensure this charity continues its work." When Rachael isn't working she is an aspiring mountaineer and aims to climb Everest. She recently climbed Kilimanjaro and will be climbing Mont Blanc in 2017.
Anne Burnett - Patron Anne Burnett - Deputy Lieutenant & former High Sheriff of Northamptonshire, Patron of Teamwork Trust. Expand Anne Burnett DLAnne, who became Patron of Teamwork Trust in October 2017, grew up in an army family, going to 13 schools as they travelled around the world. Home was Leicestershire and she returned to one school three times. Her parents retired to a farm where she grew up surrounded by animals.Anne studied politics at Durham University and then spent 12 years working in London, initially in stockbroking and then fund management. When living in London she became a Special Constable and enjoyed many evenings walking the beat. Anne met her husband David in their first week at work and they have been married for 29 years. They have two grown up children and live on a farm near Oundle where Anne, having sworn never to keep animals, runs the livestock side of the business and manages the farm. David still works in the City and has recently set up the award winning micro-brewery Nene Valley Brewery and Oundle’s restaurant Tap & Kitchen.Anne became a Trustee of the Northamptonshire Community Foundation eight years ago and is now its Vice Chair. She was the High Sheriff of Northamptonshire from 2014 to 2015 and chose to promote the charity during her year in office. While High Sheriff, her main theme was youth support and this wide-ranging subject led her to meet organisations and community groups who are working to give a positive future for young people in the county. She liaised closely with the police, judiciary, the Youth Offending Service as well as voluntary groups which are working to provide a high quality service to reduce offending and reoffending by young people and to improve their outcomes and also for their families. During her year in office she visited Teamwork Trust and was visited at the farm by Kettering and Corby members. Via the Northamptonshire Community Foundation Anne also supported Teamworking with a grant to support its counselling service.Following on from her time in office, Anne has become Trustee of a number of local charitable groups including the Oundle Music Trust, St John Ambulance, Deep Roots Tall Trees Choir, EQUATA and in 2016 became a Deputy Lieutenant of the county.However, it is promoting and running the Kings Heath Boxing Club in Northampton which is occupying much of her time, an involvement she never would have foreseen a few years ago. Shirley Marshall Shirley, a human resources expert, joined the board of trustees in 2013. Expand Shirley, HR Business Partner at RCI’s headquarters in Kettering, joined the board of trustees in 2013. She is a HR professional with nine years experience, a qualified coach and provides valuable HR support to the charity and also nurtures a strong relationship with RCI, whose employees have done everything from painting walls to cooking a Christmas dinner for members. Shirley has also run employability workshops for Teamwork Trust members. "Teamwork does fantastic work in the community and the satisfaction I get from being part of the Teamwork family is invaluable."
