Nick Hayton is our Business Development Officer – he tells businesses about our cost-effective outsourcing solutions, and builds relationships and connections so that Teamwork Trust can team up with more key organisations in the local business community.

“Teamwork provides a unique appeal to businesses and my role is all about spreading that message to generate even more opportunities.” said Nick who has been in his position for three years.

Our thriving ‘factory floor’ and commercial outsourcing service has been running for over 35 years – where we provide assembling, reworking, finishing, labelling, packing and fulfilment services. We’ve built a reputation for being highly efficient and that is a huge beneficial to businesses. It also gives our members - adults with mental health needs, learning and physical disabilities - valuable vocational experience at the same time, and that too is an appeal to organisations who want to give back to their local community.
“Organisations can also fundraise for Teamwork, offer work placements and volunteering opportunities for our members, or even help to provide professional business advice and support. I work with businesses to identify what would work for them and exactly how they can get involved.”

Meeting potential clients, attending networking events, delivering presentations and representing Teamwork at business exhibitions are among Nick’s day-to-day activities. “I love working with people and meeting new faces who want to help make a real difference to the wellbeing and happiness of local people. Being able to spread the word about what Teamwork does so that more businesses want to support us is such a rewarding element of my job. I help write funding applications too because securing external bids and grants is also important for a charity like Teamwork.

“There is always more to be done though, as we want to help more local adults with disabilities – businesses can play a big part in that and everything I do is about spreading that word.”

How can I help you ?
