Graham Marshall, Operations Director

Graham was a volunteer at Teamwork Trust for nine months before he became Operations Director – he has worked in that role since 2012.

I share the day to day running of the charity and its three centres on behalf of the trustees,” he explains.  “I manage the centre managers and am responsible for how the commercial outsourcing services are delivered too – that’s all the packaging, assembly, labelling and fulfilment work we provide businesses from our centres in Corby, Kettering and Wellingborough.”

Graham’s role varies every day. “There is no typical day for me but that’s what I love about working at Teamwork Trust,” he said. “I am basically responsible for making sure we have a thriving ‘factory floor’ facility and that our members have lots of jobs so that everything continues to run smoothly. We have a very good reputation for delivering a high-quality service so that’s something I feel passionate about maintaining. Building relationships with those who provide work is really important.”

Talking about what he loves the most about working at Teamwork Trust, Graham added: “I love that we as a charity provide opportunities, choice and control for everybody, despite the huge financial challenges we face in the sector. I am proud of how very adapt we have become at meeting the changing demands of our funders, and I strongly believe that is one of the strengths of Teamwork Trust. We are being recognised as delivering best practice and are working hard to secure the short to midterm financial future of the organisation. All this stands us in good stead going forwardand will hopefully protect our future for the next 5-7 years.
