Senior Support & Development Coordinator - Wellingborough

Teamwork supports vulnerable adults (aged 18-65) who have short or long term and enduring mental health issues; those with learning difficulties and disabilities; and those with sensory or physical disabilities. We run a variety of Programmes that give individuals choice and control over the community opportunities they access in a social care setting.
The Senior Support & Development Coordinator is responsible for the following remit:
• Supervises and provides social care support for vulnerable adults in our Enabling Programme
• Deputises for the Centre Manager in their absence and runs business in a factory setting
• Supports vulnerable adults on the Activities Programme
• Completes reports and attends reviews.
• Promotes vulnerable adult engagement in the absence of shop floor work.
• Supports the education team when delivering activities and workshops to individuals.
• Runs breakfast club for the individuals
• Holds business insurance and is able to transport individuals to offsite activities.

To be successful as the Senior Support & Development Coordinator, you will need to have the following experience:

Genuine interest in working with vulnerable adults.
Self-motivated and a team player who will lead on running all aspects of our Social Care Programmes
A keen problem solver with initiative and forward thinking.
IT literate including Microsoft packages: Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Adobe creative applications
NVQ Level 3 in Social Care or prepared to work towards and evidence of CPD
Holds a UK driving licence with own transport (expenses paid)

Job Offer

£19k per annum – 37.5 hours per week 8.15-4.15 daily
