Victoria Bell is our Head of Development.

Victoria’s role is largely about making sure that Teamwork Trust is the person-centred organisation it has committed to be – that the people who use the charity’s services and those who volunteer and work for Teamwork are at the very heart of how the charity operates.

We have a strong reputation as an organisation with a very firm commitment to developing people – our staff and service-users. Making sure that happens and that we communicate our approach to the wider public and our key stakeholders is a big element of my role,” said Victoria, who has worked at Teamwork Trust since 2012.

I am responsible for leading, planning and delivering high-level projects, building education opportunities for service-users and managing staff development, which includes supporting our apprentices and volunteers. My job is to make sure we continue to build skills in all our individuals and that’s hugely rewarding.”

Victoria has developed important staff processes around Teamwork’s induction, training, supervision and performance management. She has also built relationships and partnerships with key stakeholder groups on a local and national level, andidentified and helped secure external funding streams.

Developing educational opportunities for our service-users is also a significant part of my role. These include managing IT, numeracy and literacy, wellbeing and other related programmes, and also running the members’ steering group which allows members to have a say in the direction of our charity.

Victoria believes that Teamwork Trust is becoming more and more recognised for its approach. “Communicating everything we do through all of our channels and the mediagives our reputation a boost and highlights to all how we aredelivering best practice.
