Teamwork Trust has a wellbeing programme, for the whole community to benefit from.

Our programme of wellbeing courses are designed to put people back in control of their lives, with everything from mindfulness classes and anxiety management to 'food and mood' classes and art therapy.

An introduction to wellbeing

These courses, run in a supportive environment, will help you set clear, realistic goals and consider the steps you could take to move towards them. You will be given the opportunity to develop a personal action plan, with support at every step of the way.

IT drop in sessions

Coffee, a chat and a chance to learn how to get the most from the internet is at the heart of these sessions. Teamwork Trust is an online centre for Learn by Way, an online learning website designed to make getting online easy and stress-free. These 90 minute sessions is ideal for those without basic online skills or for people looking to improve their existing digital know-how.

Our mindfulness expert runs regular classes for members of the public. Mindfulness is a very simple form of meditation that was little known in the West until recently. A typical meditation consists of focusing your full attention on your breath as it flows in and out of your body. Focusing on each breath in this way allows you to observe your thoughts as they arise in your mind and, little by little, to let go of struggling with them.

Using art to tell your story

Enjoy art to express and explore your individuality whilst having fun. This course is relaxing, therapeutic and there is no expectation to be 'good at' art.

Peer support

These peer support groups are designed to link people with others in similar situations, so you can discuss the issues and successes of the past week in a supportive environment.

Anxiety management

These courses will help you develop an understanding of your own anxiety and ways to improve your wellbeing in a safe and supportive environment. In the first few weeks you will lean about anxiety, whilst we support you to identify and understand why you may be feeling these emotions. Then, we will guide you through different ways you can improve your wellbeing.

What do I do next?

Before attending a course we ask you to attend an enrolment appointment with one of our course co-ordinators, to discuss course options and the support you may want.
