Many people suffer from mental health issues within their lifetime. A lot of people rely on charities to get the help they need, however charities such as Teamwork Trust depend upon donations to continue their work. With mental health day approaching SNB have decided to attempt the 3 peak challenge to raise money for Teamwork Trust.
I wanted to raise money for a local charity in particular to support my home town Corby. I wanted to find a charity who supported people with mental health issues (for personal reasons) or people with disabilities in particular. Someone close to me recommended Teamwork Trust because of the excellent mental health support Teamwork provided to this person. I was then thrilled to find out that Teamwork also help people with other disabilities so I felt I found my perfect charity to support.

I’m thrilled to have the chance to run the Great North Run in its 40th year and my 50th year. I will be turning fifty August 2020 and I’m celebrating this milestone by running a half-marathon – it’s time to see what the old girl’s got left in her!
