What skills do I need to volunteer?

Expand

This very much depends on the kind of role you are looking for.  At Teamwork Trust we do not necessarily look for any specific skills or experience. Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn often count for much more.

In fact your time, goodwill and ability to get involved are as important to us as your qualifications.

What is Teamwork Trust?

Expand

Teamwork Trust, which has centres in Corby, Kettering and Wellingborough, is a charity committed to ensuring everyone gets access to the same chances, choices and opportunities - whatever their individual needs or abilities.

The charity’s members – adults with mental health needs, learning and physical disabilities – choose from a programme of enabling and education projects, activities and counselling programmes.

At the heart of the enabling programme is a factory floor at each of the three centres, where members get vocational experience – assembling, packing, sticking, stuffing and labelling.

Teamwork Trust also offers a wellbeing and counselling programme to the wider community.
