Our most ambitious fundraiser to date!

THE EVENT …

 

During 6 weeks in October / November / December 2024 we plan to ‘Row the Atlantic’

We aim to travel the equivalent of 3,150 nautical miles / 5836 kilometres

on our state-of-the-art indoor rowers kindly donated by Amazon Leisure

But we need your support.

 

THE DATES …

 

Between October 14^th and December 6^th, our service users, staff, volunteers, and supporters at our centres in Corby, Kettering and Wellingborough will row the Atlantic but we need your help.

We need teams to complete 3-hours rowing per centre per day for 6 weeks.

We are putting the ‘fun’ back into fundraising and have set an ambitious target of £20,000.

 

WHY …

We wish to raise funds to empower our service users to set up and run new social enterprises, all chosen and championed by them. See below: 

 

 “Being able to have an enterprise that makes T-Shirts would be brilliant” – Ian

 “Gardening more with Teamwork would be fantastic, we could eat what we grow and sell

Some of our service users have been with us for over 30 years – we listen to them, and strive to give all the same Chances, Choices and Opportunities. With your help will launch up to eight social enterprises that will turn dreams into reality. Together we can really make a difference.

We will have a celebratory event at the end of the row for all supporters and

there will be prizes for the teams who row the furthest.
