Being the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce’s 2018/19 Charity of the Year has boosted the Teamwork Trust’s reputation in the business community.

Following the Chamber’s recent announcement that Age UK Northamptonshire will take over as its 2019/20 chosen charity, Teamwork’s strategic director, John Bruce said: “Thanks to the Chamber’s support, we have been able to scale up our networking, make new business links and raise our profile within the community. This has brought to a close a wonderful year and we are delighted that Age UK Northamptonshire will now reap the benefits.”

Over the twelve months, Teamwork received complimentary membership of the Chamber’s Business Alliance Group to enable it to network with some of the county’s most influential companies and can attend Chamber events for free. The charity’s logo was also featured on the Chamber’s website, company stationery and in various other Chamber publications.

Northamptonshire Chamber chief executive Paul Griffiths said: “We feel it is important to support county charities and to highlight the contribution they make to our community and we have loved working with Teamwork to raise their profile and forge new connections with the business community.”
