Maggie Long joined Teamwork Trust as Company Secretary and Trustee in March 2022. Maggie is a Company Secretary of a Hinkley and Rugby Building Society and is experienced and passionate about governance and improving organisational policy and process.

  

“I first learned about Teamwork Trust from my sister who recently did a year-long fundraiser for this exceptional charity. When I was exploring the idea of becoming a trustee I saw that Teamwork was seeking to recruit. It felt like the perfect fit – supporting an organisation my sister had told me so much about and using my vocational experience as company secretary.

 

“I met with the chair of trustees and the team at Kettering and it was obvious that this was a great time to join – a new structure had recently been embedded into the organisation, a new CEO appointed and we had just entered the 40^th year of Teamwork Trust – so much history and, crucially, so much opportunity.”

 

In her spare time Maggie, who lives with her husband and two children in Corby, loves gardening, watching films and reading. Her favourite film is Aliens and one of her favourite books is , watching movies, reading books.
