I couldn’t say no …
After hearing about the amazing work Teamwork Trust does in Northamptonshire and meeting the fantastic service users I was hooked, I couldn’t say no. This is my first time being a trustee and supporting this charity with the amazing work they do is a great motivation.

My experience is useful …
I am a Chartered Health and Safety Consultant and have worked in health and safety roles since 2010 in a wide range of industries and have gained lots of experience of how health and safety works in different settings.
Health and safety can be a big, complicated subject at times, so I aim to bring my understanding of it to Teamwork Trust to help the team to make sense of it all as best I can.

A friend introduced me …
A friend has been a trustee for a couple of years so when Teamwork Trust wanted to bring in a health and safety trustee, she asked if it was something I would be interested in. I went into the Corby site to meet the team and have a look around as well as sitting down with the service users who interviewed me as well.

When I am not working …
I am married and have a young son. When I am not working, I am usually playing Minecraft or Roblox with him, spending time with family and I do my best to keep fit with walking, MMA or yoga. I love being at home with my favourite people and I can usually be found listening to a podcast or music while enjoying a cocktail or some red wine.
